Soporte

The system for the Control and Monitoring of the transport operation makes it possible to monitor the devices involved in the passenger transport operations, report incidents and help resolve them providing related information and suggestions.

It is a key tool for looking after the correct running of passenger transport operations as it not only rapidly detects and solves problems but also allows them to be analyzed afterwards.

Control

The Control system is made up of different distributed and coordinated elements that together show the transport operator’s production status in real time. There is a direct link with the on-board fare collection and control system, from which information about position and about the vehicle can be sent. It can also send information about operations such as start of service, end of service, start of journey or delays.

The system for the control and monitoring is split into two subsystems: Management Subsystem y Monitoring Subsystem.

GES

  • The management sub-system or “GES” makes it possible to manage and operate each one of the buses. The device tree shows all the buses and their status. When an incident occurs, this is visualized on a pop-up window. This way, the operator who has permission for the device is informed immediately.
  • The Monitoring Subsystem makes it possible to monitor and visualize the devices involved in transport operations in real time and well as when recorded. Its main function is to provide the necessary tools for the observation and analysis of the operations, as well as detecting possible anomalies in the elements that make up transport operations.

Cartografico

The Monitoring Subsystem is made up of three elements: Cartographic Viewer, Linear Viewer and History tool or Flashback.

      • The Cartographic Viewer shows the position and status of the buses on a map, updating the information every 30 seconds. It can gather information such as vehicle data and status, number of passengers on board, route, service or driver.
      • The Linear Viewer can monitor operational status in a virtual space. It uses linear diagrams to show information about routes and vehicles.

Lineal

    • The History or Flashback tool, allows the visualization of a vehicle or bus route’s operations on a map or linear graph. The tool therefore allows viewing details and problems that happened during the time span.
